Thank You

We say it most, we say it least.

We expect the most, but when unexpected, we are most pleased.

We learn it early, we forget it too soon.

Too simple, too benign, harmless, even.

Yet a tad bit heavy, so over the moon.

Given to those who do not care, really only to appease.

Unsaid because it’s ordinary.

But effects are extraordinary.

Extraordinary measures are unnecessary.

Never inappropriate, even in jest.

Kidding aside, it weighs the greatest.

That’s all. :-) It’s just always nice to hear a simple thanks. And it’s always nice to give it too, because that means I got something to be thankful for. :-)
