Space Dreams
In the frequent occasion that I day dream of having loads of cash, I just got into thinking on traveling – where I would go, how long I’ll stay, the languages I’ll learn to be a citizen of the world.
Very nice. Then I remembered one particular line from the speech my grandfather prepared for my wedding, one that he didn’t get to deliver because he was so overwhelmed with the festivities but I recorded later on to be included in the final video. In that speech, he mentioned how proud he was of how far I have traveled (mainly because compared to my dear uncle who has traveled more, I am the one who sends postcards from every city). My grandfather said in his lovely speech, “I only wish she would not dream of having a honeymoon on the moon.”
Well, in my dreams where I have loads of cash, a honeymoon on the moon may not be too distant. I got excited with the news of Virgin Galactic’s VSS Enterprise’s first captive carry flight which was announced last Monday! Oh, Dad, if only I had $200,000 to spare, I may have a honeymooon, not on the moon, but in space.
I love space dreams.
