Mommy Adventures: Health Care Providers
We are settling in pretty well in our new environment. School has started after the holiday weekend, and we have met some new people that we could potentially build relationships with.
Aside from the unpacking, there are still so many things that Um and I have to take care of. We humbly thank God everyday for giving us the energy and resources to be able to cross them off our list one item at a time. Some seem to come around and get taken care of pretty quickly; others require more attention and patience. But, as Abe Lincoln once said, I may walk slowly, but never backwards. Besides, who set
the pace in this journey anyway? Though I am often confused by these “schedules”, I remind myself of what Faja always tells us: ALL IN GOD’S TIME.
While Um busies himself with the pertinent thisandthat on our home, car and other stuff, I attend to all of Captain Awesome and Little HRH’s needs. One of the things under my “jurisdiction” is getting them health care providers. Um’s family here has awesome recommendations for a pediatrician, but it looks like I would have to find a dentist for my family on my own. We would like to get Captain Awesome’s buck teeth fixed as soon as possible; so, hopefully, this dentist that I find will be able to refer us to a good orthodontist.
Wish me luck!
