I did not watch a lot of TV when I was in the Philippines. Not that I did not want to relax and submit myself to the universal favorite pastime of couch potato-ing, I just did not have the time to. Because of this, I have not heard of Zachary Levi before Chuck.

I actually only get to know to certain shows through our friends who introduce them to me and Um, tell us that we have to follow thisandthat series, and Um goes and buys the DVDs. We got suckered into Chuck within the first few minutes of the pilot episode. Um and I said to each other, who is this guy?! The role just fits! Although so many pictures show that Zachary Levi does not look anything like Chuck when he is not in character. I guess he just plays the geeky-ex-Stanford-student-computer-Nerd-Herd-expert-slash-CIA’s-most-valuable-source-of-information really well. It had series marathon all over it and it did cost two exhausted married-with-children people sleep they were already struggling to have. No complaints there, though. The sleepless nights laughing with my husband were priceless. I thought of nicknaming my son “Captain Awesome” because of this show, for crying out loud!

I must admit, I have not had time to watch the series since the end of the second season. I actually just found out that there was a campaign for the series to be renewed last year. I am way behind and very much lost on the current story line. Although, I did see an episode that Chuck and Sarah (Yvonne Strahovski) now live together. Yes, yes! I have got to get myself caught up soon — if only I could find a way to multiply myself!

Zachary Levi seems to be everywhere these days: his show is in for its fourth season (thanks to its avid viewers!), he has this Nerd Machine apparel going on, he was one of the most bid on celebrities on Eva Longoria-Parker’s TwitChange auction that benefited aHomeInHaiti.org and The Miriam Center, he’s the voice of Flynn Rider in the upcoming Disney movie, Tangled (cannot wait to see this with my Little HRH), and he sings!
