Blinks: Run
taken: January 2010, Caleruega, Philippines
There was a time in our life when wandering is a sign of intelligence; staring blankly, a sign of curiosity. Then there’s the running aimlessly for the heck of it. It was fun. We felt the wind against our face, blowing our hair. It felt so good…so free.
Later in our life, this childhood day-staple becomes not-so-fun anymore. We start running around, looking for a direction to aim. We spin in dizzying circles trying to figure out among the many roads which one to take, if we ever see a road at all.
Watching Captain Awesome (and Little HRH through webcam) play, run, laugh brings me back to the days when things were simple and I was very carefree. And I remember to relax and breathe slowly, savor the air. I pray that they also enjoy this time of their lives so much that it also becomes the memory that would calm them down when they need to.
