Blinks: Banka
Once in a while, I like to take somber pictures. A lot of times, somber settings are picturesque. Sure this picture has a somber tone but what it also has, like many somber pictures, is that it somewhat denotes peace. The tranquility of this lone banka takes me to small towns all over the US a la Dawson’s Creek. I don’t know why that’s appealing, but perhaps it’s the idea of small docks like these with small boats tied to it, not the small town of course. Really makes me wanderlusting for a Florida holiday. Not the busy Miami shores. Smaller town. The idyllic kind, simple and relaxing. One where you can sleep wander aimlessly on your little boat, somber in tone, but rewarding inside.
